The driver is seen pulled up under the bridge before the big crook gets out and sneaks up to the homeless men.
After pouring the liquid with his left hand, he lights the fire with his right hand, throws the burning container at one of the men and jogs away.
One of the homeless fights for safety and manages to reduce the flames, but the other seems to react slower when the car drives away.
The attack took place under a bridge on Avenue General Paz, near Mataderos, in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
The incident was said to have happened three weeks ago, but was only recently reported in the local media.
In flames: the man turns away from the fire and forces his burning bowl to one of the homeless men, who suddenly realizes what happens after he apparently fell asleep
One of the victims is allegedly identified by the police as a 38-year-old who went to a local hospital and was treated for burns to his face and arms before being released.
The second victim has been missing since the attack and has not yet been identified.
A local mechanic told reporters that he believed that people who & # 39; cannot tolerate people on the street & # 39; behind the attack.
He added that the victims, whom he said were Venezuelan, & # 39; good people & # 39; were who & # 39; did no harm & # 39 ;.
A police investigation has been started and the police are working to find out if the aggressors knew the victim.
No arrests have been reported and the investigation is still ongoing.
