Three 20-year-old women and two men are missing for a second day after a night out at a Newport bar – family say they are ‘worried sick’ and have asked for help finding them.
Sophie Russon, Eve Smith and Darcy Ross, all 20 years old and from Newport, were at the Muffler bar and club in Maesglas in Newport on Friday night before friends thought they were going to Trecco Bay in Porthcawl with Shane Loughlin and another man who will also be supposed to be missing.
The name of the second man has yet to be confirmed.
Relatives of the three women said none of them had been seen or heard from since 2am on Saturday and none of them had been active on social media.
According to her sister Lauren Doyle, Mrs. Smith’s car is still at the Muffler club.

In a message, Ms Doyle said: ‘It is known that they went to the Muffler in Maesglas and then to Trecco Bay on Friday night, but left there overnight for an unknown location. They were last seen around 2 a.m.
“None of them have had contact with friends or family, which is very unusual. We are all terrified and think the worst.’
A relative of Shane Loughlin has also said he is missing and his family is working with police to find him. Family and friends of all five people have taken to social media to share photos of them in a plea for help.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said police are investigating.
