Three men are found dead in a cemetery in California, causing investigations into triple murder

Three men were killed on Monday morning in the grounds of a cemetery in Southern California, in what is called a triple murder.
It was not immediately known how the three victims died in the cemetery of Perris Valley, said the spokeswoman for Robyn Flores, spokesperson for Riverside County.
Flores said the cemetery remained closed to the public and that no other information was immediately available.

According to a press release from the agency, delegates from Perris Station responded to the Block 9 Per North Boulevard at around 10.30 am with a report of three men not responding to a cemetery.

Aerial footage of CBS Los Angeles and still photos taken on the spot showed the bodies of the victims lying in the grass between a bouquet of flowers and Valentine’s Day balloons.
The Sheriff’s department did not want to say whether the men in the cemetery had been killed, or whether the bodies there had been dumped afterwards.

Witnesses reported that one of the victims had bent the other, another lay face down and the third wrapped in something that looked like a sleeping bag, according to KTLA5.

Investigators from the Central Murder Unit were called to the cemetery and took over the murder investigation.
“This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no perceived threat to the public,” the press release said.
The identity of the victims is remembered pending the report of the next of kin.
Investigators are trying to determine whether Monday’s triple murder is related to two shootings that took place in Perris earlier this month,
Mayor Perris Michael Vargas announced a statement that he “was deeply saddened by the heinous crimes that took place today.”
