Three ISIS militants were sentenced to death for beheading two Scandinavian hikers in Morocco last year.
Suspicious leader Abdessamad Ejjoud and two others were given the sentence on Thursday to mold Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway, and Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, until death in December.
The men filmed themselves and carried out the brutal killings and distributed the images online where they could be heard as a fireman of the pair of enemies of God.
All 23 defendants appealed to the court on Thursday, most pleaded with Allah for mercy before the judges retired to determine their fate.
A separate video showed four of the men who pledged allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for a black and white ISIS flag.
In his final arguments in June, the public prosecutor described the three as & # 39; human beasts & # 39; and he asked for death sentences.
Two of the most important suspects, Jounes Ouzayed and Rashid Afatti, are carpenters. Abdessamad Al Joud is a street vendor.
