Arkansas State basketball is investigating after ‘three of its players were arrested for theft’

Three members of the Arkansas State basketball team were arrested for robbery Saturday night, according to a report.
Dyondre Dominguez, 22, Julian Lual, 21, and Terrance Ford, 19, have been charged with theft of $1,000 or less, ESPN reported.
The report adds that the trio were released about two hours later, according to online records from the Craighead County, Arkansas, Sheriff’s Office.
The robbery was allegedly committed at a local store with the trio booked at Craighead County Jail at 6.37pm.
‘The athletics department and the coach [Bryan] Hodgson is aware of the situation and is in the process of gathering all information,’ Arkansas State said in a statement.

“Once full details are obtained, the matter will be dealt with appropriately.”
All three players are awaiting a PC hearing on Monday, the Jonesboro Police Department said via ABC.
Lual and Ford had completed their first seasons with the Red Wolves this year, playing 32 games each.
The 6-foot-1 Ford was the team’s third-leading scorer in the 2022-23 seasons.
Meanwhile, Dominguez transferred to Arkansas State from UMass in April and is one of seven transfer portal players signed for next season.
