A 19-year-old teenager is murdered after the allegedly stolen Kia she was traveling in crashed into a Mercedes, as police search for the driver accused of fleeing the scene and leaving her to die.

A teenage girl has died after the allegedly stolen car she was traveling in collided with a Mercedes SUV.
Emergency services were called to Mahoneys Road in the northern Melbourne suburb of Thomastown at around 1:10am on Sunday, after an allegedly stolen Kia Cerato and the Mercedes collided.
Police and ambulance crews began performing CPR on one of the Cerato’s passengers, a 19-year-old girl from Mill Park, but were unable to revive her.
A 21-year-old Reservoir girl, who was a passenger on the Cerato, was taken to Alfred Hospital in serious but stable condition with upper body injuries.
A man and a woman, both in their 30s, from the Mercedes were taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in stable condition.

The man is being treated for upper body injuries, while the woman suffered lower body injuries, including cuts and abrasions to her legs.
Investigators believe another person was driving the Cerato but left the scene before police arrived.
Images taken at the scene show the Mercedes on its side in the middle of the road with debris strewn across the road.
Mahoneys Road is expected to be closed until later Sunday morning while the scene is surveyed.
