Thomas Tuchel ‘will NOT be sacked’ by Bayern Munich despite disastrous defeat by minnows Bochum leaving Bundesliga giants EIGHT points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen – and boss is determined to fight on

Bayern Munich will not sack Thomas Tuchel despite being eight points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen following their defeat to Bochum, reports claim.

The pressure on Tuchel is mounting rapidly with the German giants at risk of their first trophyless season in 12 years, and their shock 3-2 defeat to the minnows on Sunday proved to be their third successive defeat in all competitions.

In a surprise move, Bayern canceled the manager’s post-match press conference, sparking speculation that they would soon pull the trigger in a bid to save their season.

However, Sky Germany Journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Tuchel will remain in office and refuses to contemplate resigning due to his desire to continue fighting.

More to follow.
