With 19 wins in his 30 games, he led Chelsea to a second Champions League title, fourth place in the Premier League and the FA Cup final.

Should Tuchel see his three-year deal, he would become the longest-serving manager under Roman Abramovich.

The Blues have also exercised options to extend the contracts of 36-year-old defender Silva and 34-year-old striker Giroud, both for an additional year.
