Thomas Tuchel reportedly met new Man United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe last week about the possibility of replacing manager Erik ten Hag, and outlined plans for what he would do if he became the new manager. club.
United are currently reviewing Ten Hag’s position at the club after what was a miserable campaign leading up to their FA Cup final triumph over Man City.

And BILD journalist Christian Falk has now confirmed that Ratcliffe has recently met face to face with Thomas Tuchel.
Falk wrote on Twitter.: ‘Last Tuesday there was a meeting in Monaco between Thomas Tuchel and the new shareholder of Manchester United, Jim Ratcliffe.
‘Tuchel revealed his plans to take over as coach if Erik ten Hag is sacked.
Tuchel is said to have explained to United’s co-owner how he could get United’s sporting problems like Sancho and Mason Mount back on track.
Ten Hag’s position is currently under review and he may have been saved by the FA Cup win
‘Tuchel mentioned Antonio Rudiger as an example that in the past he had already managed to get players with great potential to perform at their best again.
