This Morning fans were less than impressed on Friday morning when the show kicked off with an embarrassing dance segment.
Viewers branded the car crash intro “the worst show opening of all time” as hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle showed off their dodgy dance moves while reminiscing about their favourite 90s songs.
Joined by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell, Josie opened the show by declaring: ‘Hello and welcome to your Friday’s This Morning,’ while Craig then explained: ‘We’ve got a reason for doing this, we’re kicking off your Friday with some 90s tunes starting with Rhythm of the Night, a favourite of Josie’s.’
As she danced, Josie commented: “90s music is absolutely fantastic,” before turning to Tim and Gyles to ask them what their favourite song from that era was.
After they named Soul to Soul from Back to Life and Getting Jiggy With It from Will Smith as their favorite songs of the era, Craig realized that pop music wasn’t his thing and that it was more of a rock music style.

Then the song was blasted into the studio, and Craig, Josie, Gyles and Tim started jumping wildly around.
But as Craig got down to business, Josie quickly stopped the process and snorted, “No, oh no, it’s too much for me!”
And it seemed to be too much for viewers, too, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain about the segment.
They shared: “#ThisMorning Worst start to a show ever; ‘I love this tune! But the dancing!?’
“Is this the worst opening segment of a This Morning episode ever? ‘Unfortunately, you’re not hallucinating’.”

This comes after ITV took a scandalous turn on Friday morning when Andi Peters made a very risqué joke about masculinity on Lorraine, while Rob Rinder showed off his impressive dance moves on Good Morning Britain.
It seemed to be too much for viewers, too, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain about the segment.
Clearly in a mischievous mood, Andi, 54, took the opportunity to share a very risqué comment when a photo of him flaunting his very ripped physique appeared on screens as part of a discussion about whether hairy men are scared of going topless.
As he proudly looked at his jeans-clad self, Andi told presenter Christine Lampard and Dr Amir Khan that he was “not ashamed” of his ripped body.
As the pair showed their appreciation for her excellent form, Andi then revealed something very sexual that someone in the gallery said in her earpiece when she said, “Nice pants, but I can’t pole vault, if you know what I mean.”
Andi, of course, was referring to French pole vault sensation Anthony Ammirati has sparked a stir Olympics moment, after a certain appendix prevented him from winning a medal in Paris 2024.
But while a clueless Christine insisted she had no idea what he was referring to, a smiling Amir confirmed he was aware, as laughter from the crew could be heard in the background.

Meanwhile, on Good Morning Britain, Rob Rinder stunned his co-stars and viewers with his surprising agility.
Following a debate over whether breakdancing should be an Olympic sport, Rob was inspired by two breakdancers who showed off their skills in the studio.
The lawyer then took the initiative and decided to show off his own moves, performing an impressive somersault before posing calmly with the dancers.
Her moves drew a standing ovation from co-star Kate Garraway, while break dancers and other crew members were duly impressed.
