THERAPY BAKING

In 2014 I lost a loved one to cancer. I was withdrawn and lost weight. I had to pick myself up for my daughter, so I started baking a lot – cakes, quiches, bread. I would come home after work and cook until midnight. I would give them away or raise money for a good cause. It was almost a form of mindfulness that helped me through the difficult times.

VASELINE HAND-LIFT

As I grow older, my hands show my age, so I wear them in Vaseline (£ 1.50, boots) and go to bed every fourteen days with cotton gloves. I've been doing it for ten years. It's not a glamorous look, but when I wake up, they feel as soft as the hands of a 19-year-old! I also paint them with OPI nail polish: red, pink, oranges and French manicures. It gives me a little lift.

Donna says: & I drink a bag of Absolute Collagen every day (£ 26.99 for 14 bags, absolutecollagen.com). A friend recommended it because my hair was thinning, but it worked so well that I had to go to a sachet every other day because it made it too thick. It has also made a big difference to my skin, which is smoother, with less visible fine lines. & # 39;

Donna stays young every week with a budget face. & # 39; I do my own facials once a week. First I immerse my face in a sink with cold water while I notice that the skin is tighter. Then I apply a hyaluronic acid mask (£ 1.50, boots.com). I follow with Simple Facial Toner (£ 2.33) and Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalizing Eye Roll On (£ 5.99), then apply Angela Langford Bloom & Glow facial oil (£ 20.50, angelalangford.com) and use a jaderol to stimulate blood circulation. I finish with Garnier Ultralift Anti-Aging Night Cream (£ 4.99) & she added

DIY GYM ROUTINE

I've found it harder to stay in shape since I reached the menopause, so every day I try to do a 90-minute workout at home. I have a treadmill (£ 130), rowing machine (£ 99) and hand weights. I do push-ups on a exercise ball and use my Wonder Core (£ 40), a small, folding muscle-tone machine, to target my abs. All on Amazon.
