Social media erupted after funny pictures of cats resembling one of Jim Carrey’s famous characters appeared online.
It didn’t take long at all for social media users to pounce on the striking similarities between the elusive cat fringe and Carrie’s character in the 1994 movie Dumb and Dumber.
Curry, 61, played Lloyd Christmas in the 1994 movie alongside Jeff Daniels, who was his goofy boyfriend Harry Dunn.
Funny pictures of the cat, dressed in pot-cuts with sideburns, were posted online by Xander Tsai during the pandemic but have only just been discovered.
Xander, from Changsha, Taiwan, uploaded the sweet photos to Facebook after finding out the cat was up for adoption.
Social media went into a frenzy after pictures of this cat – which has striking similarities to Jim Carrey’s goofy and dorky character – surfaced online.

Posting photos with the caption: “Not every cat can handle this hairstyle!!”
A group of photos that included funny shots of the cat staring directly below the camera were met with hilarious responses in the comments.
Many users have posted pictures of Carrie, while others have also seen similarities to Spock from Star Trek.
In fact, some have likened the cat’s haircut to Ringo The Beatles legend Ringo Starr for his haircut that day.
“Even cats can have bad hair days,” one user joked.
Meanwhile, she added a second: “It’s like your mom when she offers to cut your hair.”

A third responded playfully with a photo of his cat, joking: “My cat is probably one of her cousins.”
While many were quick to laugh at the cat’s account, some users thought the cut was in the right direction.
