Kylie Kelce became the latest public figure to congratulate her husband Jason on the end of his 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

‘Taking this one out of the archives to congratulate this guy on his retirement,’ Kylie wrote on Instagram along with a photo of the pair from their Super Bowl LIII victory over the New England Patriots in February 2018.

‘His accolade-filled 13-year career is a direct result of his hard work, determination and resilience. I am immensely proud to be your wife and I can’t wait to see what you do next.

‘As always, the girls and I will be there cheering you on every step of the way!’

Jason recently bid a tearful farewell to the NFL after 13 seasons with the Eagles, although, as Kylie recently revealed, he had been considering retirement for four years.

“I’ve heard multiple versions over the last four years,” Kylie said. NBC 10 Philadelphia about her husband’s tearful retirement speech.

‘This was a completely different version. I think every year I started from scratch as far as what was on the surface. But when he said he was thinking about retiring “for years,” he meant “for years.”

“I think I was the only one who heard his speech before he started,” Kylie added. ‘I think it was a perfect summary of 13 years. “I always say he’s not from (Philadelphia), but he gets it, so that was the perfect example.”

Jason said it’s no coincidence that the best years of his career happened after he met Kylie after an Eagles Christmas party.

“Of course it made me emotional, it makes me laugh that he tried to talk about what he remembers from that night because like I said before, he was intoxicated,” Kylie said of the night she and Jason met.

“He was very, very sweet, very kind. It was too much credit.

Jason and Kylie met after matching on the dating app Tinder. Less than an hour after their first meeting, Jason passed out at the bar where they were drinking.

Things have improved from there, as the couple now have three daughters.

“A tremendous amount of love and support is expected because I know who my husband is and the way he has behaved and how that has affected people’s lives,” Kylie continued. “But at the same time, it’s still shocking.”
