- Timo Werner pitted Chelsea 1-0 against Real Madrid with a header from close range
- But last week, the German striker missed a big scoring opportunity for Chelsea
- After criticism of that lady, Isabele Silva sang Werner’s praise on Tuesday
After canceling Timo Werner last week due to his lackluster finish, Thiago Silva’s wife Isabele took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to greet Chelsea goalkeeper.
Werner nodded in Chelsea’s first goal in their 2-0 win over Real Madrid, who converted at close range after a nimble Kai Havertz lob came back off the crossbar.
The German forward turned down a great opportunity to score for Chelsea last week and Ms Silva was quick to comment on her Instagram story about the £ 53 million forward who has endured a tough first season in England.
After calling him names last week, Thiago Silva’s wife, Isabele, took to Instagram to praise Timo Werner after scoring for Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

But after scoring one of the goals Chelsea booked a seat in Istanbul at the end of the month for an all-English final against Manchester City, Silva changed her tone.
‘Werner, very good! That’s what I’m talking about, ” said the 34-year-old just after the first goal on her Instagram. ‘You know! You are the best, my friend, love you! ‘
Last week, she remarkably said that her husband’s teammate ‘did not want to score’ after missing a super chance at a six-meter away goal against Real in Spain.
However, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has ordered Werner to forget about his latest horror miss
“This is karma, guys,” she yelled. “Every team I go to is a striker who keeps missing goals … this Werner, what’s his name?”
She added: “We need a goal, we need to win this game, but my forwards don’t want to score, I don’t know why they don’t score.”
Thiago Silva and Werner both spent the summer with Chelsea last year, recruited by Tuchel’s predecessor Frank Lampard.
Silva has had a more direct impact than Werner, with the 36-year-old’s experience at the heart of the Chelsea defense proving key as they compete for a top-four finish and, of course, the chance to two trophies to win with an FA. Cup final and Champions League are coming.

25-year-old Werner, who came over from German club RB Leipzig, scored 12 goals in his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
Werner, Silva and the rest of the Chelsea squad are back in action this weekend, facing Champions League City co-finalists on Saturday night at the Etihad.
City are on the verge of claiming the Premier League title, while Chelsea will have to do the housework and finish in the top four. They are only three points ahead of West Ham in fifth place.
