There was a new face at Cobham on Wednesday when Thiago Silva finally joined his Chelsea teammates for the first time.
The 35-year-old Brazilian defender has signed a one-year contract at Stamford Bridge after calling in time for his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Silva played 315 games for the French champions during an eight-year stay in the capital.

He performed in training with his new colleagues, participated in small competitions and other exercises.
Next to him was Ben Chilwell, who missed the start of Chelsea’s season with an injury.
The full defender came over from Leicester City in a £ 50 million deal in the summer, but struggled with a heel injury he sustained in the back of last season.

He is now back in training and could be lining up for his debut in the coming weeks.
Chelsea started their season on Monday evening with a 3-1 win over Brighton.
Frank Lampard’s men will take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this Sunday at 4.30pm.
