Ticketmaster is failing Taylor Swift fans who had their expensive tickets to see the pop icon stolen from their accounts by scammers.

Would-be concertgoers who had their accounts hacked and tickets stolen blame Ticketmaster for poor security and a slow response to the crime.

Blaine Heck, 36, told DailyMail.com he was given $3,500 worth of tickets to a Taylor Swift concert in New Orleans as a birthday gift, only to discover scammers broke into his online account this week and They transferred them.

He said he immediately contacted Ticketmaster, who informed him that “it could take up to a week to resolve the issue, with no guarantees.”

Would-be concertgoers who had their Ticketmaster accounts hacked and Taylor Swift tickets stolen are coming forward to blame the company for poor security and slow response.

“This situation has left me incredibly frustrated, and after talking to other people, I realized that this happens way too often, especially as we get closer to Taylor’s upcoming US tour dates,” she explained.

Heck, of Essex, Connecticut, added that Ticketmaster did not appear to have “insufficient protections to prevent these types of account breaches and ticket thefts.”

She said she accepted the tickets into her account and learned via email that they had been transferred to another account the next day.

“Given the high stakes surrounding major events like this, it appears that a more robust digital ticket policy and enhanced security measures are necessary to protect customers,” he continued.

‘I did my duty by having different passwords, I changed them often, Ticketmaster failed me and many others.’

Heck, a publicist, said she contacted friends in the media industry and eventually got the tickets returned.

But he still isn’t letting Ticketmaster get away with it.

“I think there are hundreds more who are having this happen to them and are having to wait days, if not weeks, for Ticketmaster to respond,” he said.

Heck shared her horror story less than a week after Savannah Van Skyhawk experienced the same problem with her Taylor Swift tickets.

After four tickets to see Swift were taken from her account, she immediately contacted Ticketmaster, but the company misled her after the initial conversation.

‘They just told me, “We’ll call you in three to five days.” Then I would wait three to five days and they wouldn’t call me,” he said.

‘I tried calling them again and then they said three to five days. It was a kind of circle, as if no one had ever called me.

The company restored your tickets and your account after a media report about the situation, but did not explain how it happened.

“They just said once I got back into my account to change the email and password,” he said, WTHR reported.

“Fans should be aware that unauthorized ticket transfers are often the result of poor password management, such as using the same password on multiple websites,” the company told the outlet.

“Fans should use a unique, secure password for their Ticketmaster account, just as they would for a bank account.”

Daily Mail has contacted Ticketmaster for comment.
