Some of the most popular baby names for 2024 in Australia have been revealed, with a decade-old favorite taking the number one spot.

Thousands of Australian parents have entered their children into Bond’s famous Baby Search competition and the company has revealed which names came up the most.

Oliver topped the list, with the nickname being the most popular Australian boy’s name according to data from the McCrindle research group for more than a decade.

It would appear that more boys than girls participated in the competition this year, with Noah in second place, Hudson in third, and Leo in fourth place.

Noah and Leo have also been frequent stars in McCrindle’s top ten boys’ names, coming in at number two and three in 2023 respectively, while Hudson came in at number eight.
