Scenes of drunken carnage erupted on the streets of Magaluf last night as young British tourists partied into the early hours of the morning.
Groups of young women cheered when a nightclub bouncer lifted a reveler into the air like a silly bell.
Young people chatted as they flitted among the bars on the resort’s famous strip.
But at least two tourists, overwhelmed by excess alcohol, were lying on the ground.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and the young men were taken unconscious to hospital.
Others sat on the side of the road crying, as their ideas of fun ended in misery.

These sights of drunken excess come as no surprise to the many bars and night shops that populate this sheltered bay on the south coast of Mallorca.
“Every night young people drink and have fun,” one shopkeeper told MailOnline.
‘The clubs stay open until six in the morning, but the worst time is between 2 and 3 in the morning.
“That’s when the streets fill with drunk people. They drink so much that they start to fall and fight.’
It comes as Spain’s Balearic Islands have vowed to crack down on booze-fuelled holidays.
Tourist hotspots such as Palma, Llucmajor and Magaluf in Mallorca and San Antonio in Ibiza have stepped up efforts to curb rowdy behavior by increasing fines for drinking in the street, banning shops from selling alcohol at night and restricting parties on boats.
In a bid to toughen the islands’ 2020 legislation, partygoers now face penalties of between €500 and €1,500 (£430 and £1,290) if their drinking on the street “disrupts coexistence, generates crowds or deteriorates the tranquility of the environment.
Party boats can no longer come within one nautical mile (1,852 km) of designated areas and have been prohibited from picking up or dropping off passengers.

Shops selling alcohol in “excessive tourism” areas must now close completely between 9.30pm and 8am, rather than simply stopping selling alcohol between those hours.
The strict rules, which also prohibit tourists from hosting public drinking parties, painting graffiti, riding scooters and showing nudity, will remain in place until at least December 2027, by which time the government hopes the law will no longer be necessary. .
When the stricter rules came into force earlier this month, angry Brits drinking in bars and walking along the Magaluf strip told MailOnline their holiday was being “ruined” by the crackdown and claimed the party complex was trying to redefine itself as a family destination.
Daniel Vella, 24, from Portsmouth, said: ‘Magaluf is about having a good time. If you come to a place for a party, you should be able to have fun. I think if they bring all that stuff, they’ll ruin this place. Everything is going downhill now.’
His friend Bradley Shetland-Carter, also 24, said: “We’re English, we’re British, we drink a lot.” If drinks are banned at 9:30 p.m., we need more alcohol. We come here to get drunk and drink all day…fuck the rules.’
Returning from a day at the beach before hitting the bars, Daniel continued: ‘This will kill this place. We have been four times. It’s early in the season but it’s much deader than usual. “I think if they ban alcohol consumption and increase consumption, they will ruin it.”
Charlie Jay, 25, from Torquay, Devon, was walking towards another bar with a group of lads after refueling at a kebab shop. He said: ‘Everyone knows Magaluf as it is, right? Magaluf is the party place so I don’t think they can change that. I came here five years ago and nothing has changed. It has improved if anything.
“Everyone knows it as the party place, so people will keep coming back for years and years.” When asked what he likes about the party resort, he added: “Anything goes in Magaluf, it’s what they say on the tin.”

Carl Shurley, from Leicestershire, agreed, telling MailOnline on the seafront: “That’s what Magaluf is all about, you’re here to have a good time.” You are here for a good time, not for a long time. “With this prohibition on drinking, the only thing that is achieved is to ruin the festivity.”
The 34-year-old, who was with a stag party, added: “They’re transforming it from a party venue to a family venue, that’s what they’re trying to do.” They should leave it as it is, that’s what Magaluf is known for. Benidorm is your family and party resort and that is what Magaluf tries to do.
He said the crackdown was aimed at the British “because we acted like idiots.”
“I’ve noticed that there are hardly any party boats here,” he added. ‘You’re destroying him, that’s what they’re doing to him. People will be disappointed and lose a lot of customers. It’s a party island, people spend a lot of money here, now they’re changing it, they’re going to ruin it.’
