The expert suggested that if Harry and Meghan had observed the positive response to the royal family’s activities, they might have been reassured by the public’s support for the King and Princess of Wales, Catherine, especially after their recent health battles. “If Harry and Meghan had taken the time to take note of the positive comments from the royals here, they would probably have been glad that the King and Kate were well enough to be out of the house after their cancer diagnosis.
“They’re not heartless,” Bond said. However, the challenges facing Harry and Meghan go beyond public perception. Bond highlighted the ongoing legal battle between Harry and the UK Home Office regarding security arrangements, which complicates King Charles’ position. “I do not foresee any progress in improving relations with the King and William in the New Year.
