MEXICO — The young Mexican singer-songwriter alexis tangumaemerged from “La Voz México”, a contract established with the record label “Hecho a Mano Music” of the Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner.
Tanguma, originally from the northern Mexican city of Monterrey, thought as “a dream to have fallen into the hands of whom I consider to be the most correct for me, a person who has all my confidence like Montaner, it is a privilege for me.”
“Alexis is an innate talent, he has a lot of feeling in his voice and in his songs. I know that she will demonstrate with the approval of the public… we at Hecho A Mano Music will have the privilege of presenting it to the world”, expressed the creator of songs such as “La Cima del Mundo” and “Tan Enamorados”.
Tanguma caught Montaner’s attention from the first time he heard him in the blind auditions of the 2020 “La Voz México” program. In that competition the young “from Monterrey” did not win, but was considered by many to be the “champion without a crown”.
“My faith is placed in God, which apart from music is something else that unites me with Montaner, since he is a man of faith,” added Alexis Tanguma, who for the second consecutive year opened the concerts of Montaner’s tour in Monterey.

Since childhood Tanguma was surrounded by music. In his adolescence he played music and musical instruments, thanks to that today he plays the guitar, the keyboards and the piano with great mastery.
The first song he composed was at the age of 15 inspired by and dedicated to his mother. Since then she has not stopped writing musical themes, even if it is on a napkin. She belonged to musical bands, to church musical groups, until in 2020 she forced second place in “La Voz”.
Hecho a Mano Music is a label founded by Ricardo Montaner and currently has artists such as Camilo, Nani, Claudia Prieto and Montaner himself.
