Rick who? Troubled Kate DeAraugo And The Young Divas Reunite For The First Time In Over 10 Years Since Their Split, Replacing Ricki-Lee Coulter With A NEW Singer

The Young Divas have reunited for the first time in 13 years after their breakup.

The Australian Idol supergroup surprised concertgoers when Kate DeAraugo and Emily Williams decided to join singer Prinnie Stevens on stage when she performed at Sydney’s Enmore Theater this weekend.

The crowd was delighted when the trio decided to perform some of the Young Divas’ best hits, This Time I Know It’s For Real and You’ll Never Stop Me Loving You.

The group also played covers of Frank Sinatra and Tina Turner.

Excited Ben James, better known for his Bankstown drag-alter ego Carla, shared footage from the concert, writing “The Young Divas I want,” before tagging the trio.

While it’s unclear if the trio were testing the waters to see if the group would make it without Jessica Mauboy or her predecessor Ricki-Lee Coulter, fans were nonetheless pleased.

Ben also shared selfies with DeAraugo, 36, and Williams, 37, as they posed backstage.

“They are so iconic and they still sing so great. I lived my gay fantasy honestly,” he said of the concert.

It comes months after Mauboy told Daily Mail Australia that while she would be “able” to reunite with The Young Divas, she doesn’t expect it to happen anytime soon.

“I would love to do it, but I don’t see it happening anytime soon,” she said in June.

Emily had other plans and told Women’s Day, “I love all girls. We’ve been through a lot together and it would be great to take a walk through memory and sing some tunes.”

Founded in 2006, the group’s lead single, This Time I Know It’s for Real, went straight to number 2 on the Australian charts.

Ricki-Lee left the group in 2007, opening the door for Jessica Mauboy to join.

The band broke up in 2008 and the members pursued solo careers.
