Alica Schmidt, dubbed the “world’s sexiest athlete,” took her fans on a virtual tour of the Olympic Village.
The German star runner shared a fun compilation about her Instagram page of the activities available to athletes after they finish competing at the Paris Olympic Games.
Some of the highlights on the list included getting a personalised stamp from the Games’ official partner, La Poste, and enjoying complimentary baguettes, croissants and soft drinks provided in the Village.
However, Schmidt recalls maintaining his fitness at the highest level – possibly as an early preparation for the upcoming Olympics – by cycling around the Village and attending meditation sessions.
The 25-year-old seemed particularly pleased with the coffee that had her personal imprint on it.

Schmidt has posted a heartfelt message on Instagram following the end of the Paris Olympics, describing the past few weeks as “a rollercoaster of emotions”.
However, Schmidt and his team’s performance could have been better throughout the tournament, as the German team finished tenth in the overall medal table and was brutally eliminated from the mixed 4×400 relay.
Jamaica topped the rankings, with the Netherlands, Ireland and Canada also advancing after a tense clash.
Schmidt was chosen over teammate Luna Bulmahn, who had high hopes of competing in the women’s 4x400m at the Stade de France.
Tensions mounted following the German team’s disappointing performance and Bulmahn expressed her frustration by saying: “Yes, I am the second fastest 400m athlete on paper. No, I was not nominated for the mixed relay.”
Following the Olympics, the 25-year-old posted an emotional message on Instagram, describing the past three weeks as “a rollercoaster of emotions.”
“As an athlete, I’m not where I want to be yet and maybe I never will be,” Schmidt wrote, expressing her aspirations for future tournaments: “And to those athletes who didn’t make it to Paris this year, never stop believing in yourself.
‘It’s a bumpy road and one day all your hard work will pay off.’
However, it could have been a successful Olympics for Schmidt, who garnered a lot of attention throughout the tournament and currently has more than 5.7 million followers on Instagram.
Schmidt and the German team finished a disappointing seventh in the 4x400m race and failed to qualify for the final.
Her viral Village Tour video on Instagram has already received over 100,000 interactions.
In 2017, Australian magazine Busted Coverage dubbed her the “world’s sexiest athlete” and Paris 2024 was not her first Olympic Games.
Schmidt was selected for the 4x400m relay event as a substitute for Team Germany at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, but did not run as her team placed fourth, narrowly missing out on the bronze medal.
