The puppy was hit on the woman’s head several times before the victim was finally able to wrestle her pet back.

“The altercation started after two women in one vehicle confronted two women in the second vehicle for being cut off in a drive-thru,” Halifax police explained.

In the first, a discussion breaks out with both vehicles side by side.
The pair can be seen clapping each other through an open window.
The second video shows the more brutal attack on the defenseless puppy as one of the drivers drags the dog with his leash around his neck.
After finally punching the dog in the victim’s head for the second time, the owner managed to grab the animal, after which the other woman tried to hit her with the other end of the leash.
Police eventually arrived on the scene, but neither wanted to make any changes, but after seeing the video in its entirety, an investigation is underway into possible animal cruelty.
“There were first reports of a dog, but the size was not clear at the time. Officers checked two dogs in one vehicle and they seemed to be in good health, “the Halifax police said in a statement. “The severity of the actions against the dog was unknown at the time.”
The incident started with the two cars parked side by side and a slap through the window
