The woman calls the police to report that she has been shot in the shoulder – only for the police to realize that it was really an INSECT BITE
- The police in Bethel, Ohio, were called by the woman on Tuesday at 10:13 a.m.
- She claimed that she had been shot in the shoulder at her home on East Osborne Street
- But researchers found that she was really bitten by an insect
The Ohio police were called to the home of a woman who reported being shot in the shoulder – only to discover that the bullet wound was actually an insect bite.
Bethel authorities say the incident occurred Tuesday at 10:13 AM when the police received a call from the 300 block of East Osborne Street.
When the police arrived on the scene and realized that the woman was stung by an insect, medical first aid workers were called to offer treatment.
Earlier on Tuesday the Bethel police said that around 4.23 pm they received a phone call from a man who claimed that four people in a white sedan were rolling down the window and shooting at him.

But when the police arrived to investigate, they decided that the man had “some sort of psychotic episode.”
He was then taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital for treatment.
