Henry Cavill is back for his final season on Netflix The witcher in the first-look season three teaser trailer below.

The first five episodes of the season will air on June 29. The remaining three episodes will be released on July 27.
Netflix has also released this description of season three, which is based on author Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series and game adaptations: , determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it. Cavill announced that he would be leaving the Netflix series on October 29, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the role for season four. This came despite the producers’ original plan to keep the actor for seven seasons. The reveal came days after news broke that Cavill was returning to DC as Superman. Two months later, Cavill admitted that he wouldn’t be returning as Superman after all, as DC Studios’ new bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran opted instead to tell the story of a younger man of steel in a new film titled Superman: Legacy. While Cavill quickly moved to Amazon to star and executive produce for the company’s series adaptation Warhammer 40,000the popular sci-fi fantasy miniature war game, which is currently under development.
