Justin Aaron blew the judges away with his emotional rendition of “Break Every Chain” on Monday’s two-hour episode of The Voice on NBC.
The 34-year-old singer from Junction City, Kansas, was the final contestant on the show as each of the top 13 contestants performed a song that changed their lives.
Before he took to the stage, Justin told his trainer Gwen Stefani, 53, that Tasha Cobbs’ song entered his life during one of the darkest moments when he was struggling with depression.
IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE: Justin Aaron blew the judges away with his soulful, soulful rendition of “Break Every Chain” on Monday’s two-hour episode of The Voice.
“This song literally changed the course of my life,” Justin said.
When he finished his performance, all the judges were on their feet.
“Amazing,” said show host Carson Daly, 49.

The youngest of Team Gwen’s 19-year-old, Kiki from Miami, was the first contestant of the night. He chose “Steve Wonder’s Superstition”, which he dedicated to his high school band’s teacher who inspired him. He said at rehearsals that he was going gold.
“I love your voice,” said Camila Cabello, 25, when it was over.

Blake Shelton contestant Bryce Leatherwood, 22, of Woodstock, Ga., chose George Strait’s Amarillo Bee Morning to perform. Bryce said that this song has been on his set list since day one.
“My goal is to do the song to the best of my ability and do justice to King,” said Bryce.

Blake, 46, stood up and applauded him when he finished.
“It looked so perfect and natural,” John said when he finished. You looked like a star there. Your voice sounded so pure and beautiful.
“I loved it so much,” Blake said. “I love George Strait and I love Bryce.”

Inside it: “I was into it,” Blake said. “I love George Strait and I love Bryce.”
From Camila’s team, Devex, 28, of York, Pennsylvania chose “RU Mine” by Arctic Monkeys. Devex took the stage and performed the song while strumming his guitar. Camilla gave him a standing ovation.
“It was really good,” John said.
“I went on to star in this one,” said Camila. ‘You are gorgeous. I want to scream.’

South Dakota pop artist Rowan Grace chose “ABBA The Winner Takes It All.” Rawan, 17, said that when she was young she would perform ABBA songs for her parents. Blake encouraged Roan to push herself. The crowd cheered for her when she finished.
“It’s amazing and that’s why people love you,” Blake said of the way she approaches songs.
Team Legend contestant Omar Jose Cardona, 34, of Orlando, Fla., chose Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix’s In the Name of Love. He said the song helped him through a dark time in his life.

Pop song: South Dakota pop artist Rowan Grace chose the song ABBA The Winner Takes It All
“Insane power here,” Carson helped as he finished. “I am electrified.”
“Your voice is so strange that sometimes we forget you’re human,” John said. “This just unlocked another level.”
Gwen contestant Alyssa Witrado, 19, of Fresno, Calif., chose Selena Gomez’s “Dreaming of You.” She said the song reminded her of the loss of her grandfather. Gwen encouraged her to show emotion when she sang.

“I think your energy is contagious,” said Camilla.
‘You make me smile every time I see you,’ said Gwen. ‘I am really proud of you.’
Blake’s California soul artist Buddy, 29, of Ladera Ranch, Calif., chose “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” from The Proclaimers. Buddy shared that this was his wedding song. He said the song changed his life.
He was given a standing ovation by all the judges when he finished.

‘You’re incredibly talented,’ said Gwen. ‘Very talented.’ Your voice is ridiculous. But what I loved about tonight and what you do is you have a lot of access to your heart. It’s very real.

Team Legend Texas influencer Kim Cruz, 30, of Woodville, Texas, chose a Willie Nelson version of “Always on My Mind” that she said was inspired by the loss of her grandmother.

“I’m sure they heard it in heaven,” Blake said. ‘That was beautiful.’ It was incredible.’
Brayden Lab, of Grass Lake, Michigan, chose Sam Hunt’s version of Kenny Chesney’s “Come On.” He told Blake that was the first song when he realized he loved performing.

Next contestant Camilla Morgan Miles, 35, of Nashville chose Beyoncé’s If I Were a Boy. She said the song resonates. The crowd cheered for her when she finished.

17-year-old Team Legend contestant Parijita Bastola from Severna Park, Maryland chose “All I Ask” for Adele.
“You are one of my favorites in this period of competition,” Blake said.
The Voice will return Tuesday night on NBC.
