The Voice fans rebel against ‘made-up’ finals when Chris Sebastian’s brother Chris wins

Voice Australia coach Guy Sebastian celebrated his younger brother Chris who won the game on Sunday evening.

But many viewers were far from happy, taking to Twitter to dismiss the outcome as ‘manipulated’ and ‘dishonest’, saying the other finalists were ‘robbed’.

“The Voice just lost its credibility,” one fan tweeted, while others wondered why Chris should have auditioned in the first place.

Despite his connection to one of the judges, the younger Sebastian took home the $ 100,000 cash prize and a record deal with EMI.

“He broke the rules by even participating. He has a direct family member who works for the company. Why was this allowed? It says in the terms and conditions that they don’t apply if you have family who work for the company. #RIGGED, ‘tweeted an enraged viewer as he shared a screenshot of The Voice’s sign-up form.

“Relatives and friends of the jury are NOT allowed to participate,” said another angry fan.

Why do people even watch The Voice? It’s a total waste of time, just cancel the show. Anyone who has won that show has done nothing. They just win and disappear and we will never see them again, ‘wrote a third.

A fan tweeted sarcastically, “A family member of one of The Voice judges won this year … what a surprising and totally unmanipulated coincidence!”

Another wrote: ‘[Chris] Being Guy’s brother was a huge benefit, which we know helped him further. Johnny and Siala are fresh new talent. They’ve been robbed. ‘

Others suggested that the support of the mega-church community of Hillsong helped Sebastian secure the majority of the public vote.

The least of the performers tonight, but he, shocked, won. It’s a crook and #rigged & Hillsonged ‘, one critic tweeted.

“Cancel the show!” Fans claimed the competition was ‘bulls ** t’ and never produced winners that became successful years after their crowning moment

Matt Gresham, a single that also appeared on The Voice this year, also tweeted the result alongside a quote from Proverbs 12:19 that read, “Truthful Lips Last Forever.”

The whole verse goes on to say, “But a lying tongue only lasts a moment.”

One fan agreed, “Show me how rigged it is and you have the right to tell it like Matt.”

“Guy had nothing to do with Chris’s whole journey. You’re just salty, ”another backlash, to clarify that it was a public vote that secured Chris’s victory.

“You have the right to tell it like it is”: While some Matt fans agreed with him, others said Chris deserved the win and Matt was “salty”

Others on Twitter also stood up for Chris, claiming he deserved the win and neither of Sebastian’s brothers should be ashamed of the public’s decision.

Another fan wrote on Matt’s page, “Part 3 of the terms and conditions says you can’t have a family member working on part of the show. Chris Sebastian needs to be disqualified … 2020 is everything wrong and strange. ‘

However, on Twitter, a user pointed to a section in the terms and conditions: “” At the discretion of the producer “” is the language you should focus on in the terms and conditions … which gives them the strength, and it was ultimately their choice. ‘

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Nine to clarify the terms of the show’s terms of application.
