Blake Shelton used his only save to give married Nashville duo The Dryes a second chance after a not-so-quick performance on Tuesday’s episode of NBC’s The Voice.
The Dryes lost against Team Blake contestant Bryce Leatherwood, 22, of Woodstock, Georgia, after they performed “Red Dirt Road” by Brooks & Dunn together as the Battle Rounds continued after Monday’s two-hour episode.
“The Dryes are so talented,” Blake, 46, said in the confession. They fell behind. I know they are better musicians than that. If there was anything I could do to give someone a second chance, I would, which is why I used my save.

The hour-long show opened with Team Legend contestants Lana Love, 30, of Glendale, California, facing Omar Jose Cardona, 33, of Orlando, Florida. Both of them were excited when they saw that Jazmyn Sullivan, John’s Grammy Award-winning advisor.

Legendary Team: The hour-long show opened with Team Legend contestants Lana Love, 30, of Glendale, Calif., facing Omar Jose Cardona, 33, of Orlando, FL, after getting advice from John’s consultant Jazmyn Sullivan.
“I’m kind of a fan here,” Lana said in a confession.
John Legend, 43, gave them “Into The Unknown” from Frozen 2, but a pop-rock version of Panic In The Disco. Lana was worried about facing Omar. Jazmine encouraged them to look at each other as they performed in battle.
The judges gave them a standing ovation when they finished. Blake told Lana it was amazing.

“Omar, you are one of the best singers I have ever heard,” Blake said. Maybe I will choose Omar.
“I feel so inspired afterward,” said Camila.
“I feel like I just got launched into a rocket and orbited the moon,” Gwen said.

Team Camila contestants Andrew Igbokidi, 22, of Hot Springs, Arizona, and Zach Newbold, 19, of Northboro, Massachusetts, practiced their song I Want to Dance With Somebody from Whitney Houston.
“You seem to care more about hitting every note when it really comes down to the emotional feelings associated with all this melodic stuff,” said Charlie Puth, 30-year-old singer-songwriter advisor to Camilla. I just want to feel a little more. ”

Camila urged them to find the intention of the song. Zak said that the song seemed a little sad to him and brought him back to his childhood. Andrew said the song reminds him of his family.
“Yes, my children!” Camila screamed after her final battle performance.
“You two have been given a tough job here,” Blake said. “But that’s what I love about battle runs is when you’re handed something that’s almost impossible to do and you figure out a way to make it work.”

Camilla chooses Andrew as the winner of the fight.
“I wish I had another rescue,” said Camilla, hugging Zach.
Team contestants Camila Cello and Constance Howard were paired together and performed Silksonic’s Leave Open. Camila decides to go with Cello, saying he has “the quality of a magical star”.

Team Legend contestants Kara McKee and Peyton Aldridge competed to sing “Extreme More Than Words.” He chose John Peyton as the winner of the fight saying that only his voice had the advantage.
“I think Peyton has a lot of potential,” said Gwen.
Kayla Von der Heide fought Sadie Bass for Gwen’s team. They performed the song Bread All I Have.
