Channel Seven has released a trailer for the next season of The Voice Australia.

The footage begins with series veteran Guy Sebastian, 42, “recruiting” new coaches LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller-Heidke and Adam Lambert to appear alongside him.

Sebastian is seen sitting in The Voice studio calling LeAnn, 41, Kate, 42, and Adam, 42, and asking them to join his “team,” a position they all happily accept.

LeAnn is then seen leaving her farm in America, Kate leaves a concert mid-performance and Adam is seen flying on a private jet to join Guy in the final series.

It then cuts to Queen collaborator Lambert holding a stunning Voice Australia crown which he marvels at, while the coaches wonder which contestant will take it home this year.

The trailer shows plenty of fun banter between the four singing stars, in what looks to be one of the most steamy seasons of the long-running reality show yet.

Sebastian is the only returning coach, with new faces replacing last year’s trio of mentors, Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo.

LeAnn, whose real name is Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian, has had more than 40 singles chart since she rose to fame as a country music star at the age of 13 with her 1996 single Blue.

Meanwhile, fans know new coach Adam Lambert for his role fronting legendary rock band Queen’s live shows since 2011.

Alternative pop singer Kate is best known for her songs The Last Day on Earth and Zero Gravity.

Guy said of returning to the panel for a sixth year: ‘It’s so good to be back on The Voice! It’s always so special to be part of a show that continues to not only discover new Australian talent but also shine a bright and well-deserved light on so many talented singers.

‘Adding the incredible talents of LeAnn, Kate and Adam to the show this year will be incredible! They are all incredible, world-class artists who I know will bring something fresh and incredible to the season. Come on!’

Sonia Kruger will also return as host, presiding over the competition as a new group of aspiring artists take to The Voice stage hoping to turn their singing dreams into reality.
