The View’s Ana Navarro got pretty candid about her five-year marriage to Al Cardenas on Friday’s episode when she made a captioned joke about their sex life.

During the latest installment of the ABC show, Ana, 52, and the rest of the panel invited Womaness co-founders Sally Mueller and Michelle Jacobs to the table to discuss all things menopause, and months after hinting that she and Al had turned to “medication” to help, she decided to get back to the personal topic.

Joking about her own experience as she gets older, Ana said: “There are all sorts of emotional symptoms too. The only silver lining is that when I have a particularly bad day, I can now blame it on the menopause!”, before going on to talk about intimacy.

‘Let’s talk about sex, or as my husband would say, “not enough,” because there’s this sense that when women can no longer have children, they stop being sexual and have no needs or desires, and we all know that’s not true. How do you respond to what happens in menopause with sex?’

Sally replied: “Well, we need to start breaking that perception and that taboo, because women want to have sex…”, before Joy Behar chimed in and joked: “With their husbands?”, as the rest of the panel burst into laughter.

Sunny Hostin wanted to talk about her own experience with menopause, asking the experts: “Is it normal to still have periods at 50?”, to which Michelle replied: “Yes, you’re looking at that person!”

Sunny, 55, confirmed she still gets her period, replying: “You’re looking at that person! But I thought at 50 you should… be in menopause,” while Sally revealed: “The average age of menopause is 51.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin, who turned 35 in June, joked: “If Sunny gets pregnant before me, I’m going to be so upset!” as the panel erupted in laughter again.

As the conversation continued, 81-year-old Joy spoke up again, saying, “I don’t know if you mentioned libido, but that affects it too…” but Ana was quick to jump in, saying, “What do you mean? I just talked about not wanting to have sex! And you made a great joke!”

“Yes I did, sorry,” the comedian replied as Ana commented: “There are memory issues with menopause too!” while the experts confirmed: “Yes, brain fog.”

“I wasn’t paying attention, but you’re right,” Joy admitted, as Sara Haines joked: “Joy just wants to talk about sex, so…” and the redhead added: “This is our last show of the season, I’ve had enough!”

It’s not the first time the panel has discussed menopause on air and earlier this year, Ana hinted that she and Al had turned to “medication” to keep the passion alive in their marriage.

During a frank discussion about a man who wrote in a newspaper’s advice column and revealed he hadn’t had sex with his wife in 10 years, Ana, 52, decided to share her own experience live.

When her co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested that the man’s wife might be going through menopause, Anne was quick to insist that the condition didn’t have to mean the end of intimacy.

“Listen, as someone who is in the middle of menopause, there are all kinds of medications and things you can do,” she said.

She then added: “And I think instead of writing in any advice column, they should go see a sex therapist or a marriage counselor!” before Whoopi replied: “Or maybe it’s just done!”

“Sometimes, it’s just over. Sometimes, it’s just over. And if she hasn’t started anything in 10 years, dude, it’s time to go!” the Sister Act star continued as Alyssa laughed off-camera.

“This isn’t going to get better!” said Anne, as Whoopi corrected her and said, “No, no, it might, but don’t count on it!”
