View host Whoopi Goldberg didn’t hold back during the live taping of Tuesday’s episode when she jumped out of her seat and berated one audience member in particular after noticing she was filming the panel.
Just five minutes into the episode, as Whoopi, 68, and her co-hosts discussed the news that a New York appeals court had agreed to cut bail in Donald Trump’s fraud case, the Sister Act star interrupted Sunny Hostin mid-sentence to shout out the man.
“Wait,” he said to Sunny, as he stood up and walked to the left side of the ABC studio, before telling the mystery man, “Sir, I have to stop you with the camera because I can see you.” So do me a favor, don’t bring it up again. I would appreciate it, thank you.’
As Whoopi walked back to her seat, some audience members began applauding her and saying, “thank you,” while Joy Behar asked, “What were you doing?” to which Sara Haines responded: ‘Recording.’

Whoopi scolded a man in the audience for using his phone to record them and warned him “don’t take it out again”
Viewers tuning in at home thought it was funny that Whoopi stopped the live show to berate the individual and took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts.
‘Nor Whoopi going into mom mode and telling that man to pick up his camera! #TheView,” one person posted.
Another said: ‘Get him Whoopi,’ while a third commented: ‘I’m glad Whoopi didn’t wait until the commercial to address that man. Hopefully he dissuaded any other fools from trying to sneakily record the show.
A fourth person joked: “Whoopi said, Lord, I was on Star Trek.” I zoom like a binocular. I can see you. Leave him quick before I call the Ghostbusters!’
Other The View fans claimed that the Academy Award winner was not in a good mood and was ‘yelling’ at several people.
‘Whoopi is very angry today!! I hope you are good!’ said one person.
“Whoopi being excited the way she talks to the producers and those on her side is so funny,” another viewer suggested.
“So #Whoopi is the security, the moderator, the producer, the stage manager and a grumpy woman this morning,” a third claimed.
Some viewers tuning in from home accused Whoopi of being “really angry” on Tuesday.
The Sister Act star didn’t hold back while hosting the show alongside Sara Haines.

Someone else joked that Whoopi could “zoom in like a binocular.”
And a fourth person warned: ‘Whoopi is NOT in a bad mood today!!! Mom is getting quick with all of you!!!! She Walk carefully!!’
They seemed to refer to a moment a few minutes later, when Whoopi yelled at one of the crew members behind the camera who may have been trying to rush her.
‘I’m going to get to her, my God, guys! I’m going to get to her! Can I finish my point or do you want me to jump now? she said, referring to Sunny, 55, who had a legal note to read aloud.
‘Whoopi isn’t in the mood for your pranks today!’ Joy, 81, joked, as Whoopi responded: ‘I’m not! You know, I’m trying to do everything everyone wants, but… it doesn’t matter.’
