The Vaccines gave incredible performances and delighted audiences in Kentish Town as performances continue to return after lockdown

The Vaccines and special guests put on an incredible performance Monday night that delighted the crowd in Kentish Town.

It comes as bands across England have been able to make their return to the stage after being banned from major public events during the lockdown.

The English indie rock band was joined by The Snuts from West Lothian, Scotland, for the Radio X presents The Vaccines & special guests The Snuts with Barclaycard performance in London.

The Vaccines appeared in good spirits and were excited to play for the public again, with hits such as I Can’t Quit, If You Wanna and Dream Lover.

Prior to the show, the West London band, who recently performed at Latitude Festival in Suffolk, teased fans by writing on their social media pages: ‘See you today London’.

And it seemed their efforts to excite the audience paid off as they cheered and sang throughout the show.

As the band took the stage, the fans raised their arms and danced around, excited to be enjoying performances again for the first time in over a year.

The band also took the opportunity to play some of their new music they had been working on during the lockdown.

Band members Justin Young (guitar and vocals), Freddie Cowan (guitar and vocals), Arni Arnason (bass), Timothy Lanhham (keyboards), and Yoann Intonti (drums) were lit up throughout the performance and seemed happy to be back.

The show clearly had an impact on the band as well, who then wrote on Twitter: ‘one of my favorite shows EVERRR, thank you uuu.’

And The Snuts, who take the stage for The Vaccines, have done an excellent job of pumping up the crowd.

The band, consisting of Jack Cochrane (guitar and vocals), Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum Wilson (bass) and Jordan Mackay (drums), got their energy up in no time as they delivered an incredible performance with the Scottish Flag on the background.

Radio X has hosted a number of shows through their virtual partnership with Barclaycard, with guests including Jake Bugg, Tom Grennan and Nothing But Thieves.
