The UK version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Returns to Australia.
The English producers of the hit series have confirmed that they plan to film the reality show Down Under later this year, according to reports. Tonight TV.
The long-running ITV show was moved to Gwrych Castle in Wales in 2020 after COVID-19 travel restrictions prevented the cast and crew from traveling to Australia.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will return to northern NSW later this year for the new season, and the celebrity cast has yet to be announced.
Ant, 46, called Australia the show’s “spiritual home”, saying the team did not want to film the series anywhere else.
Appearing on The One Show In the UK in February, Ant said: “We love Wales but you know, Australia is home and we’d love to go back there if we could.
“That’s what we’re hoping for, touch wood,” December added.

ITV said that fans can look forward to a new season “full of surprises”.
The main location for the show is the small town of Dungay, in northern New South Wales, where the show has been filmed since 2003.
It already hosts Channel Ten’s local version of the series as well as the German production of the franchise.

The show’s return to Australia could be a relief for UK producers.
Filming in Wales caused several complications, including being forced to push back multiple episodes from the previous season due to severe weather conditions.
Classic Jungle Tracker experiences and elements of the UK show also had to be rethought.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, I’m a Celebrity winner Dylan Lewis walked away with… Get Me Out of Here! Australia.
The fatal finale was between former Recovery host, 48, and country singer Brooke McClymont, 40.
In addition to his King of the Jungle title, he was awarded $100,000 for his chosen charity, Lifeline.
