The Tupac Shakur car was in when he was shot and sold for $ 1.75 million.
The legendary musician was a passenger in a BMW 750Li when he was shot in Las Vegas in 1996.
It is now being auctioned by a dealer in the same city that has been carefully restored – with the original owner in prison.

A small notch where a bullet may have been hit remains visible on one of the doors and serves as a reminder of the horrible history of the car.
The shooting took place while Shakur was ruled by the notorious record producer Suge Knight after watching a boxing match at a casino.
Witnesses described that they saw a white Cadillac stop next to the black BMW of the pair – from which the attacker subsequently carried out the shooting within a few seconds.
Shakur, 25, was hit in the chest, arm, and thigh by four .40 caliber rounds fired from a gun.

After the shooting, Tupac was rushed to the Las Vegas hospital but died six days later
He died of his wounds six days later in the hospital.
The killer was never caught, although there are countless theories about their identity.
The new owner of the car will receive documentation that proves its history.
This includes a certificate proving that it was first purchased by Death Row Records – founded by Knight.

It has had several owners since the shooting, but the most recent has completely restored it.
The Las Vegas police seized the car after the murder and sold it at an auction before it went through various collectors.
It still has a black leather interior, the original 5.4-liter engine and an automatic five-speed gearbox – although it has 121,043 km on the clock.

The BMW is now being sold by Celebrity Cars Las Vegas.
A deposit of $ 20,000 is required from all interested buyers before a bid can be made.
The car appeared in 2018 in the television program ‘Pawn Stars’, priced at $ 1.5 million (£ 1.1 million).
Shakur, also known as 2Pac, is generally regarded as one of the most influential rappers of all time.
He has sold more than 75 million records so far – many posthumously.
Knight, 54, currently has a long prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter after he persuaded a man in 2015.
