Fashion and cultural commentator Tom Fitzgerald has shared candid opinions about Meghan Markle, shedding light on her personality and questioning some of the claims made by the Duchess of Sussex in recent years.

talking to vanity fair In his February issue, Fitzgerald described Meghan as someone who plans meticulously and pays attention to details. “Meghan is the type of woman who consults an online menu before going to a restaurant to choose what she’s going to eat,” he said, emphasizing her organized and deliberate nature.

This perspective led Fitzgerald to question Meghan’s admission into the Harry and Meghan documentary, stating that he was unaware of royal protocols, such as bowing to Queen Elizabeth II. “The idea that she didn’t know she was supposed to bow to the Queen, I just didn’t find particularly credible,” he said.

Fitzgerald explained further: “(Based on) everything she told us about herself, I can’t imagine she met the royal family completely cold, without any investigation.”

Additionally, Fitzgerald addressed Meghan’s claim that she was “forced” to wear neutral tones as a working royal to avoid upstaging Queen Elizabeth and other senior royals. He noted that Meghan’s wardrobe has remained largely neutral even after stepping away from royal duties.

“Her wardrobe hasn’t changed significantly, so I don’t find that argument compelling,” Fitzgerald said.

The comment provides a new perspective on Meghan’s narrative, suggesting a more calculated approach to her royal journey than she has portrayed. As debates continue over Meghan’s claims, Fitzgerald’s comments add another layer to the ongoing discussion about her time within the royal family and beyond.
