In an exclusive clip from Fox Nation's new show, 'Here's The Deal with Kellyanne Conway,' Kellyanne and Claudia clear the air and reveal they agree on a lot more than naysayers are willing to admit.

Former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway’s relationship with her daughter Claudia has been a point of public fascination ever since the Gen Z influencer burst onto the political scene by publicly criticizing then-President Donald Trump in 2020.

At the time, Kellyanne was one of Trump’s most trusted advisers and critics pounced on evidence of a rift in the mother-daughter duo.

But the truth, it seems, is much more interesting.

In an exclusive clip from Fox Nation’s new show, ‘Here’s The Deal with Kellyanne Conway,’ Kellyanne and Claudia clear the air and reveal they agree on a lot more than naysayers are willing to admit.

This is perhaps a lesson that many Americans would do well to heed.

“I can look at you and love you even if you have a different political opinion than me,” Claudia said in the episode, which will air Thursday.

“The division and lack of unity in our political environment right now is what’s going to drive us even further apart,” said the 19-year-old political independent, who has 1.5 million followers on TikTok.

Kellyanne and her daughter agree on this, although the veteran pollster and political consultant admitted that many of her friends and acquaintances are perplexed by how they make it all work.

“The division and lack of unity in our political environment right now is what’s going to drive us even further apart,” said the 19-year-old political independent, who has 1.5 million followers on TikTok.

“I like to think that you were raised along with your siblings as independent thinkers and that you come to your own political ideas,” Kellyanne said.

In fact, Claudia, who posed for Playboy magazine in March 2023, is not one to hide.

In a 2020 interview, Claudia was asked if she would refrain from criticizing Trump while her mother was advising the president.

“I won’t do it because I believe I have a right to my own freedom of speech. If she works for Trump, she works for Trump,” he said at the time.

That natural tension was briefly evident when Claudia, then 15, said in a now-deleted 2020 tweet: “My parents, particularly my mom, are trying to silence me by making me delete my social media. Haha.”

Then, in January 2021, Claudia controversially posted that she was “seeking emancipation” from her mother.

Today, those problems seem to belong to the past.

“I applaud you and congratulate you for inviting me on your show and for inviting people from different backgrounds on your show because I think these conversations are the most important,” Claudia told her mother.

Claudia is emerging as an expert on the Generation Z mindset.

From his perspective, this election is “remarkably different” than previous cycles, because voters between 18 and 29 years old are engaged like never before due to the influence of social media.

Kellyanne agreed: “Our younger generation seems to be among the most politically active right now. I don’t think we’ve seen that as a nation in quite some time.”

The issues that drive young voters, according to Claudia, are reproductive health, the state of the American economy, the war between Israel and Hamas and, in a possible warning to Trump, who they see as the candidate most likely to break with the past.

“I think[Generation Z voters]look at Donald Trump and Joe Biden and see two older men, who have been involved in politics forever,” Claudia explained.

“They look at Kamala Harris, even though she is directly associated with Joe Biden, which many people recognize… they see a change.”

Speaking for herself, Claudia said: “I look at Kamala Harris and I don’t see a perfect person. I don’t see a perfect leader, but I do see change. I’m not a fan of identity politics, but it would be nice to have a woman in the White House.”

This episode of ‘Here’s The Deal with Kellyanne Conway’ will premiere on Fox Nation on Thursday, September 26.
