Amber Rose surprised her fans on Monday when she attended the Republican conference to endorse Donald Trump for president.

But what also got people talking was the tattoo on his forehead, and there is a surprising meaning behind it.

The 40-year-old model paid tribute to her two sons, Sebastian Thomaz and Slash Edwards, with a tattoo that reads ‘Bash Slash’.

When she revealed the tattoo in 2020, Amber told Fox Soul TV why she chose it, and it came after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant.

“I have to be honest and I don’t want this to sound cheesy, but after Kobe (Bryant) died it made me reflect on my life,” she said.

Amber added that while Kobe’s passing wasn’t the only reason she got the tattoo, it was also “kind of a thing.”

Revealing the tattoo on Instagram in 2020, Amber wrote: ‘The people who tell me I’m too pretty for a face tattoo are the same people who would tell me I’m “too pretty” even if they thought I was ugly and were lying to me lol.

“Or they’d just tell me I’m ugly, so either way the moral of the story is: do what you want in life, muva.”

On Monday, Amber told the Republican National Convention that former President Donald Trump is “the best chance we have to give our babies a better life.”

Rose, Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend and Wiz Khalifa’s ex-wife, told Milwaukee that she changed her mind about Trump after doing some research and attending a few rallies.

She was one of the few speakers Trump caught in person Monday night, as he sat in a box at the Fiserv Forum, one ear bandaged and looking smitten.

“I realized that Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, gay or straight, it’s all about love,” Rose said. “And then I realized that these are my people, this is my place.”

She said her experience with “Trump supporters wearing red hats” changed her mind.

“I have to be honest and I don’t want this to sound cheesy, but after Kobe (Bryant) (pictured) died it made me reflect on my life,” she said of her reason for getting the tattoo.

“So I put aside my fear of being judged, of being misunderstood, of being attacked by the left and I put on the red hat as well,” she said.

Amber’s fans were furious in May when she posted a photo of herself posing with Trump, 77, and his wife Melania, 54, at a black tie event.

Rose stated in the caption: ‘Trump 2024 ususus’, which sparked a number of negative reactions from fans in the comments.

She has long been a champion of women’s rights, creating Slutwalk in 2015 in an effort to end rape culture and victim-blaming.

Many consider her support for Trump hypocritical, given his multiple accusations of sexual harassment and his instrumental role in overturning Roe v. Wade.

Fans wrote: ‘Imagine being a “champion” of women’s rights and supporting Trump and his party who reversed Roe V. Wade. How insane!’

‘ÁMBAR, SHE’S LITERALLY AGAINST EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!’

While another fan mentioned her feud with Joseline Hernandez on College Hill: Celebrity Edition, adding: “Like Joseline said, you really just wanna be a white girl.”

Rose and Hernandez clashed over racial issues, and when Hernandez said she “really wanted to be a white girl,” Rose appeared to attack her, although the footage was not shown.

Some well-known faces also spoke out against his support.

Producer, actor and attorney Nathan Hale Williams said: “Unfollow him quickly. He goes against everything I thought you stood for. Bye, girl.”

Meanwhile, actress and activist Amber Whittington added: ‘Damn Amber… You’re a bisexual woman of colour leading a movement that stands up for women’s rights and their power against anyone who would abuse it… that’s literally the OPPOSITE of what he stands for… smdh.’

Blakely Nieman Thornton said: “Go to sleep baby you’re drunk,” while actress Vivica A. Fox added: “What the f**k? #GURLBYE.”

Bob The Drag Queen, winner of season eight of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, added: ‘AMBER?!?!?! What the hell?’
