Cosmetify’s Head of Digital, Isa Lavahun, has a good idea why lip and eye products will make a comeback in 2020, about foundations and highlighter pens.
“Last year it was populated by social influencers and celebrities who release lively lip and eye products, all of which have cult followers,” she said.
“Color cosmetics is among the top three sectors in the beauty industry, so we expect this trend to continue in 2020.
“With this in mind, healthy-looking skin is still a look that consistently adorns the catwalks, meaning you can expect to see a more natural, lighter makeup base.”
While luxury is still in mind, there is a push for more affordable items so that everyone can try out beauty products at home.
