One of the network's cameras shook live

ESPN’s studio in Los Angeles was rocked by a 4.7-magnitude earthquake on Monday, while viral footage showed host Malika Andrew fully prepared for the moment on social media.

Andrews was in the middle of an interview with Rebecca Lobo on the network’s “NBA Today” show when the quake struck about two miles southwest of Pasadena.

“Damn she was so calm and smooth she could have been screaming Chris Tucker style,” one viewer reacted on X, while another said: “What a professional, she didn’t even miss a beat.”

The Los Angeles Police Department has asked residents in and around the metropolitan area to remain at home.

The LA Times reported that many Angelenos received alerts on their phones warning of the earthquake.

Andrews looked up at the ceiling to see if anything was falling from there.

Monday’s quake comes after Los Angeles experienced a magnitude 5.2 earthquake last week, the strongest to hit the state this year.

It was felt at Dodger Stadium midway through the seventh inning of an MLB game between the Los Angeles Angels and the Philadelphia Phillies, although the quake did not appear to be felt by all fans in the stands.
