Amelia has already been crowned Champion of England in the four-year-old category and Champion of the under six category at the English Open Solo Championships.

Her proud mum Tanya, 40, said: ‘If music was playing, she was dancing.

‘From a very early age, you could tell he could listen to music and keep up with the rhythm. I knew he was going to be something special.’

When Amelia was two, Tanya enrolled her in mother-child classes at the Karen Byron School of Dance, where three generations of her family have now been educated.

At the age of four, Amelia began competing and dancing at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

She specializes in ballroom, Latin and sequential dancing and has already won numerous awards and titles throughout her two years of competition.

The six-year-old would love to compete on Strictly Come Dancing when she is older and is a fan of professional dancer Amy Dowden.

Regarding the scandal currently affecting the TV show, Tanya said that ballroom and Latin dancing are “difficult to do and learn,” adding: “But if violence is used and people are kicked, then I don’t think professionals should be allowed to teach.”

However, she is not worried about the rigors of dance training.

She said: ‘With Amelia, I like that she has discipline, I like how she is pushed to be the best she can be.

‘I also love how her dance teachers do this and at the same time make her believe in herself, give her more confidence and make her the best version of herself while also having the most fun while learning.

“I think it doesn’t matter how old you are, this is how it should be.”

Amelia has also won the title of U-8 Champion of Champions and U-8 Champion of Tomorrow.

Tanya, who works as a carer, said: “She is unstoppable, she is very passionate and would live in a dance studio if we let her.”

“If she doesn’t win a competition, she gets very angry with herself. She is very competitive and loves to win.”
