A racy threesome TV show is getting a second season after receiving rave reviews.

The show was reportedly inspired by the three-way relationship between boxing champion David Haye, The Saturdays singer Una Healy and model Sian Osborne.

Love Triangle follows unlucky-in-love singles who are paired with two potential partners in hopes of finding love in an unconventional way.

A TV source told the publication: ‘Throuples is a dating buzzword at the moment, so the first season of Love Triangle caught the imagination of viewers and produced some explosive television and some truly saucy moments.

By turning their backs on the overwhelming amount of options, singles’ choices will be reduced to just two to choose from.

One pair represents the typical desires, partner type, and needs of each single; the other reflects their deepest, most fulfilling romantic needs.

Love Triangle, produced by Workerbee (a Banijay UK company), will follow singles as they spend 48 hours getting to know their two matches only through text messages.

In an effort to offer an antidote to the worst aspects of modern dating, this experience requires singles to make their decision without seeing their suitors – no photos or selfies allowed.

After just two days of trying to build a connection, they must make a potentially life-changing decision between their two partners, before meeting them on a blind date.

Just 24 hours later, the selector and their chosen partner will take the extraordinary step of moving in together to explore what their future could look like.

But just around the corner are a series of exciting plot twists that neither the singles nor their suitors see coming.

Just as the new couples are settling into their love nests, the rejected partners make a surprising and shocking return; the “pickers” must meet their alternate choice on a second blind date.

On this blind date, the new love interest will reveal that they will also be moving into the shared house to form a love triangle.

After the six singles have spent time dating and getting to know their partners, the three will move in together to form a love triangle.

At the end of the experience, each single must make a momentous and heartbreaking decision as they must choose which of their two partners to continue dating in search of lasting love.

Throughout the experience, the six singles will be forced to question themselves, their choices, and everything they think they know about love.
