A surrogate mother who can rent her & # 39; uterus & # 39; playfully advertised, gave birth to a baby boy after she had decided to have two complete strangers become parents.
Michelle Griffin, from Perth, turned to social media to find the perfect couple who desperately wanted to fulfill their dream of being a family.
The 27-year-old – who already has two children – daughter Leilani, 5, and son Issac, 3 – met Kate Ranger, 34, and her partner Kris Barlow at a surrogacy seminar in 2017.
The couple had struggled with fertility because Kate was told that she could never get pregnant after she discovered at the age of 16 that she had no womb.
But on March 21, Michelle gave the couple the ultimate gift after giving birth to their son Jack.

& # 39; It was the moment we had all been waiting for so long and it was such a natural and amazing moment to finally be able to give Jack to his mummy. It really was the best reward, & Michelle told Daily Mail Australia.
& # 39; It's pretty cool to know that I grew him, and I born him, but I don't have a maternal connection at all, certainly not like my kids.
& # 39; It's really something like seeing the baby & # 39; s from my other friends, I don't feel that I have a strong bond with him. It feels great to see him with his mom and dad. & # 39;
Surrounded by her husband Trent, expectant parents Kate and Kris and their doula, Michelle gave 37 weeks and five days to give birth to Jack on the floor of the work suite.
& # 39; Kris had to cut his cord and I gave Jack to his mother just after his birth. It was an incredible moment that I still get goosebumps to think about it. I could not have asked for a better birth, & said Michelle.
& # 39; My entire birth team was incredible and gave me so much support during the entire birth and birth. I thought I'd feel busy, but it was great to feel so much love and the energy in the room was electric.
& # 39; We all had room for each other and it was super important for me to have Kate and Kris there to see the birth of their child. I had not changed anything at birth, it was absolutely incredible. & # 39;

Michelle immediately said that the first time she saw Jack she saw that he looked exactly like his mother Kate.
& # 39; As soon as I saw Jack, I was so surprised that he was here and that he looked just like Kate. I kept looking up at Kate and kept repeating "he looks like you", & she said.
& # 39; It was so bizarre to hold this baby that didn't look like me or my own kids at all, but it was so nice to see Kate and Kris finally see their baby.
& # 39; I was just so happy for them. & # 39;
Michelle said she was inspired to become a surrogate mother after seeing how Phoebe on Friends could have helped her brother Frank and his older wife Alice's parents.
And the likeable two-to-one mother wanted to do the same by letting the childless couple experience the joys of parenthood.
Under surrogacy arrangements in Australia, surrogates cannot receive financial compensation for carrying someone else's child.
& # 39; I'm just so happy that I can share the joy and see that they become a family. I was lucky to have incredible pregnancies, so it was such a gift to be able to experience that again, while I could help someone else, & Michelle said.
& # 39; Their gratitude and friendship was the biggest reward. & # 39;

After more than a year of legal surrogacy, Michelle became pregnant after two egg collections and three embryo transfers.
& # 39; Once we got pregnant, it seemed to go so smoothly and quickly & # 39 ;, she said.
& # 39; I had a bit of morning sickness early in the morning, but nothing was too unbearable and luckily I let my husband support me and take care of the slack by taking care of our own children. This felt like my easiest pregnancy, with my children who are a little older and in school.
& # 39; I can really enjoy the pregnancy as a whole without having to worry about preparations for a new baby. It went way too fast and it felt like it was over in a flash. & # 39;
Ever since she welcomed Jack to the world, Michelle said she now regards Kate and Kris as good friends with whom she speaks almost every day.

& # 39; I really enjoyed pumping, it's so cool to see all this liquid gold. Kate and Kris are super grateful for every bag I give them and no pressure has been exerted on me to continue, which makes it so much easier, & Michelle said.

Despite her graceful act, Michelle said she's not going to become a surrogate after experiencing complications with the placenta during birth.
She had to undergo surgery for a retained placenta after she had a severe postpartum haemorrhage, which led to a two-day stay at the ICU.
& # 39; As much as I would have liked to have done it all in view of my wonderful pregnancy and our beautiful birth, the complications I made have stopped future trips, & # 39; said Michelle.
& # 39; It would not be fair for my husband or my children to go through another & # 39; n roller coaster. My husband was the real unsung hero in all this and his support means everything to me.
& # 39; It was so wonderful to be able to share our story and the journey into the life of baby Jack. I hope others can get joy and inspiration from it. & # 39;
