The animated feature starring Chris Pratt was previously estimated to have grossed $87 million in its second weekend of release, according to Hollywood Reporter.
However, the film, which recently became the biggest blockbuster of 2023, was later reported to have taken $92.5 million from domestic moviegoers by Comscore, effectively giving it the seventh-biggest opening weekend in history.
ComScore box office analyst Paul Dergarabedian released a statement commenting on the release of the Super Mario Bros. film. Movie for fans all over the world.
