& # 39; My teacher acted like I was a stranger and spoke to me strangely by saying, "Do you know we have a dress code?" I followed the dress code in our guides. My teacher said, "I don't care," and sent me home.
& # 39; People wear shoulderless tops, shorts, crop tops, [etc.] at my school and are not sent home. I have been humiliated by my school because of following the dress code.

The student was sent to the main office of the school, where her deputy reiterated that her ensemble was too short to be acceptable at school.
Courtney, however, said she had previously seen other students in outfits that were less suitable than her short overalls.
Courtney, who revealed that she was suffering with body image problems, said it was very bad that she even wore shorts and exposed her legs.
& # 39; I was quite proud of myself for managing, but after her annoying attitude, I felt that I had done something extremely wrong and was disgusted, even for my body image, & # 39; she said.
The principal, Christy Moore, told Yahoo Lifestyle: & # 39; It is not our practice or procedure to provide information about an individual student. & # 39;
However, the principal shared a copy of the school's dress code, which stated that skirts and shorts should not be shorter than 3 inches above the knee without the waist being rolled, including those worn over underwear.
According to Courtney, her outfit did not break this rule.
The teenager added that her mother is planning to complain to the school about how the situation was being treated.
