The company behind the popular franchise, EA Games, announced late last month that a new free update would be coming out on July 25 that will allow characters to date multiple people simultaneously for the first time.
News that the option for players to make their Sims non-monogamous would be added quickly went viral on social media and people across the web could barely contain their excitement.
‘The new Romantic Boundaries system is free for all players and will allow you to customize your Sim’s experience with boundaries and jealousy,’ reads a press release about the upcoming addition.

‘Your Sims will be able to find the best spot to try out the romantic blanket in the city gardens, dance the night away at their favorite nightclub, or even experience the beautiful simplicity of sitting together and gazing at the stars,’ according to EA Games.
