Disney+ has announced Maggie Simpson in Rogue Not Quite One, a short film that combines the Simpsons and Star Wars franchises and will be released on Star Wars Day on May 4.
We don’t know much about the story of the short yet, but the title suggests that it refers to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Furthermore, Maggie appears to be in a vehicle much like Grogu’s vehicle in The Mandalorian.
It’s also not clear what trouble Maggie is in, but it’s clear the Empire isn’t happy that so many TIE fighters are after her along with a vehicle that could be Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced X1.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these two worlds meet, as we saw at Disney Investors Day 2020 Homer and Goro together, and 2021 saw the short The Force Awakens From Its Nap, and there were many references to the Star Wars world in The Simpsons in Plusaversary.
