A body language expert has weighed in on Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner’s stoic postures on stage at Mar-a-Lago last night, as well as their body language toward Father Donald Trump.
Ivanka, dressed in a glamorous blue velvet pantsuit, joined her entire family last night as her father gave a victory speech, accepting his victory in the race for the 47th president of the United States.
While her husband, Jared, was at her side, the two took their place on stage alongside Trump’s vice president, JD Vance, and his wife, Usha, standing toward the end, to her father’s right side.
But although he was present for the victory, according to UK-based body language expert Judi James, things were very different last night than they were when Trump accepted his first victory in 2016.
At the time, Ivanka and her husband were right behind Melania and Barron when they took the stage and posed toward the front of the group.

“Melania is now presented as Trump’s greatest asset and jewel in his political crown,” James told DailyMail.com.
He noted that instead of Ivanka, Barron, 18, is now “posing for the anointed child,” as he stood on stage next to his mom and dad, “adopting an alpha pose.”
“When Trump became the 45th president of the United States, Ivanka’s body language behavior and her position on stage defined her more as First Lady than as Trump’s daughter,” James exclusively told DailyMail.com.
“Looking wildly ambitious, loyal and totally immersed in the game, he threw Melania and the other Trump children into the long grass.”
James noted that in 2016, Ivanka seemed like the “anointed one,” as her father’s body language “showed admiration and even respect” for her, especially since she was part of her father’s political team.
Now, however, times have changed and Ivanka’s crown as a favorite girl appears to have been taken away.
“Melania is now presented as Trump’s greatest asset and jewel in his political crown,” James told DailyMail.com. “Her style is corporate power-dressing and her poses are confident and strong.”
He noted that instead of Ivanka, 18-year-old Barron is now “posing as the anointed child,” as he stands on stage next to his mom and dad, “adopting an alpha pose.”
Lara Trump, who is married to the future president’s son, Eric, is also a major figure these days.
James noted that Lara seems to insert herself into any photo Trump appears in, all with a “look of victorious determination.”

Last night, Ivanka and her husband were with future Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha.
“You have to find Ivanka now,” James said.
‘Relegated to the chorus line, she arrived trapped in the bottleneck at the stage entrance and while Trump would once have been searching for her and introducing her to the audience, she and Jared now appear to be expected to seek attention on the outskirts. , behind Vance and his wife.
Analyzing last night’s footage, the body language expert noted that “Ivanka’s non-verbal cues now show distancing” and differ especially from Lara’s.
“She no longer responds fully to everything her father says, like Lara, the expression in her eyes tended to seem detached and a little sad and she was noticeably not in tune with the audience and other friends and family when it came to applause” , James said of the photos from last night.
“While others applauded excitedly, we can see Ivanka and Jared standing at attention with their arms extended to their sides.”
The Body Language Rules author believes Ivanka began distancing herself from the family about a year ago, coinciding with her court appearance.
“Suddenly, the super smart and cool daughter was posting photos that, like Barbie, featured her in several different and surprising looks, like Ivanka “rock chic,” Ivanka “cute and girly,” and even Ivanka “surfer,” she explained. James.
“She seemed to relax her mark and the normally tense-looking Jared almost relaxed next to her.”

Jared and Ivanka were also on the opposite side of the rest of their family members while on stage last night.
And it looks like James is onto something here when it comes to Ivanka’s disappearance from the public eye and her new persona, as she was noticeably absent from his election campaign this year.
But last night, Jared still seemed “rigid,” while Ivanka seemed “more generous with her emotional disclosures,” James noted.
Some of these emotions include anxiety and even sadness.
“There is a photo of her looking in the direction of her father with an anxious expression and another where the expression in her eyes seems to suggest sadness,” James said of Trump’s daughter.
“His smile seems softer now, especially next to Jared’s rictus smile,” he continued.
This softened appearance can also be seen in Ivanka’s style and clothing, with one aspect of her appearance even seeming “out of place.”
“No more political color block dresses, here she’s opted for soft blue velvet paired with satin,” James said.
“Her hair may fall over one shoulder and her red lipstick seems out of place in the political arena.”
It seems James is right when it comes to Ivanka’s disappearance from the public eye and her new personality.
Just hours before the election, Ivanka avoided any political talk and instead took to Instagram to share a list of 16 lessons she learned after turning 43.
Some of these lessons included that family and friends “are everything,” while urging his followers to “forgive people” and understand that “we are all teachers.”
Noticeably absent from the election campaign, he also posted photos of flowers and horses over the weekend and on Monday.
