A man was arrested after being confronted by an online child predator hunter before what he thought was an encounter with an underage girl.
A video It shows Sean Brennan, 57, denying the allegations at his job in Wyoming on Friday, before being fired by his boss and sent to the local jail later that day.
It shows him face to face with Tommy Fellows, a member of the Colorado Pedestrian Patrol, at Brennan’s workplace in Lander.
Throughout the clip, Fellows repeatedly grabs and references a folder he says contains a transcript of conversations between Brennan and decoy “girls,” one of whom was allegedly 13 years old.
During the altercation, Fellows accuses Brennan of teaching one of the girls made-up sexual acts and making plans with her for the day. He also said she sent him and his colleagues sexual photographs.

A video shows Sean Brennan, 57, refuting allegations that he tried to meet with a minor at his workplace in Wyoming on Friday.
“I’m having a little beef with a couple of girls you’ve been talking to online,” Fellows tells Brennan in the video, after entering the Shirts and More store where he works.
Brennan, believing the watchdog was a potential client, was the first to offer help.
“Are you having sex with them?” Fellows asks, and the two men walk outside together, where no one can hear them.
“No,” replies Brennan, who is seen talking to several police officers at the end of the filmed altercation. “I let them know right away.”
However, Fellows proceeds to press the man further, citing correspondence sent between Brennan and his colleagues before the meeting.
“So you would never send inappropriate pictures or anything like that?” he asks at one point, to which Brennan replies, “No.”
“So, that phone you’re carrying doesn’t have child pornography or anything like that on it?” Fellows asks, leading to another “no” from the man in question.
At that point, Fellows pulls out the folder, saying it could prove otherwise, and asks the suspect if the police would prefer to come check it out.
The accusations led to his boss firing him (left) and sending him to the local jail that same day.
As she flips through the pages, she says to Brennan, “I have three of these books, right? Three different kids.”
“Do you often beg minors for nude photos?” he asks, before referencing one specific alleged exchange in which he allegedly became angry after not receiving a photo from one of the fabricated minors.
“You said, ‘Send me a picture,’ and you got mad,” she says outside the man’s workplace.
‘So you said, “Listen girl, remember that I’m not mad, but don’t ever ask me for a photo again.”
At another point, Fellows mentions how Brennan was convicted of a child pornography crime in Arizona about 25 years ago, after which he had to register as a sex offender.
But Brennan counters that that status did not hold when he moved to Wyoming, because local officials told him his conviction was “crap” by their standards, he said.
He claims he was only convicted after researching which nude beach to visit with his then girlfriend at a public library. He claims it was the images of underage girls on some of these sites that led to his being charged.
At that moment Brennan’s boss appears, confused by the commotion.
The video ends with the officers discussing the need for further investigation. Off-screen, the officers were able to make an arrest that day, and Brennan was booked into the Fremont County Detention Center.
“I’m probably going to get fired now,” Brennan tells Fellows at that point, a prediction that would come true within minutes.
The clip shows the business owner, identified as Daniel Carey, expressing disgust and concern about the situation.
At one point, he shows Brennan’s job application, which, as he suspected, showed no prior convictions.
He reportedly responded by firing Brennan that day. State of the Cowboys Diary reported – revealing how Caret told them that Brennan was often on her phone and having trouble concentrating at work.
“This was so far from what my company would even consider,” she told the outlet. “He was handsome, I don’t know how to say it, good at dissembling, to say the least. Really surprising that he was doing this and I had no idea.”
After several minutes, Lander police arrive on scene and one officer is heard commenting that “Wyoming is way behind Colorado” in the strength of its sex crime laws and that it would be unlikely they would be able to make a felony arrest at this point.
The video ends with officers discussing the need for further investigation. Off-screen, officers were able to make an arrest that day, and Brennan was booked into the Fremont County Detention Center on Friday, Cowboy State Daily reported.
Court documents were not available because of state laws limiting public exposure of early-stage sex cases, as is the case here.
