The genetically blessed 55-year-old, who was crowned the sexiest man alive in 2021, is currently filming a remake of Anaconda on the Gold Coast.

Rudd looked every inch the Hollywood heartthrob as he smiled at a colleague before getting into a waiting car and heading to the venue.

The Clueless star looked fresh in a white t-shirt paired with what appeared to be beige corduroy shorts.

She finished her look with brown loafers and accessorized it with a sports watch.

He was later seen on a Gold Coast film set enjoying a coffee before putting on his costume for the day’s shoot.

Rudd co-stars with comedian Jack Black in the upcoming action comedy, which is a remake of the famous 1997 horror film about a giant species of man-eating snake.

The beloved star was later seen filming a sequence in which he could be seen driving a rubber boat with an outboard motor along a ‘river’.

In fact, the production crew was towing the boat, which had a camera crew strapped to the bow, down a fast lane.

The eternal heartthrob, dressed in his movie outfit consisting of a short-sleeved blue work shirt and matching shorts, used a large umbrella to protect himself from the strong sun between takes.

Rudd is probably best known for his role in the Anchorman films alongside co-stars Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell and Christina Applegate.

It comes after Rudd and Black shared that the new production will be a departure from the surprise original starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.

Set in the Amazon, the first film focused on a group of filmmakers who encounter a giant anaconda.

Earlier this month, the pair of funny men took to social media with their own racy trailer and gave fans a taste of what they can expect.

Black and Rudd appear to hold back their laughter during the short clip, which the School of Rock star says was “made on his phone.”

After announcing his starring roles in the new blockbuster, Black joked about the film’s title, saying, “It could be ‘The Anaconda’… Anyway, there’s going to be a big snake and it’s going to tear itself apart.”

Rudd then added: ‘Do you want to be scared? Do you want to laugh? Do you want to celebrate with your friends? Or maybe you are sad and have no one, but you just want to forget about it? It will be released on Christmas 2025.

During the trailer, the pair confirmed that the Anaconda reboot will hit theaters Christmas 2025.

Black ends the trailer, which appears to have been filmed in a studio, by turning to his co-star and asking, ‘Dude, have you seen the snake?’ It’s in that room over there. They are about to feed a donkey. Come on.’

The new film will inject $40 million into the local economy and create more than 300 jobs, industry magazine Inside Film reported on Monday.

Directed by American filmmaker Tom Gormican, the Anaconda reboot is produced by Sony and received state government funding through Screen Queensland’s production attraction strategy.

The publication also reported that the production also received a 30 per cent tax rebate through the federal government’s location compensation subsidy, which aims to attract major productions to Australia.

The rainforests of Queensland will replace the film’s setting, which is the Amazon rainforest.

Queensland has managed to attract high-profile productions to the state, including the Disney-produced Bluey.

Meanwhile, a big screen adaptation of the 1980s cartoon Voltron is already underway on the Gold Coast.

The original horror thriller was a box office hit, although it failed to impress critics, and co-starred Owen Wilson, Eric Stoltz, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.

It even led to a franchise that spawned several sequels, including a 2004 theatrical installment with Morris Chestnut, and several direct-to-video releases starring the likes of David Hasselhoff and Robert Englund.

Early reports describe the reboot as a “reimagining” of the original concept rather than a sequel or remake, with the remake most closely resembling the 2018 shark movie The Meg.
