Love is Blind star Leo Braudy has left viewers in complete disbelief after he repeatedly bragged about his inherited wealth in Netflix’s newly released seventh season, and some are so shocked by his lack of awareness that they think it’s a fake contestant.
The 30-year-old art dealer, who lost his parents and grandparents to cancer, frequently shared his fears that women would use him for money rather than forging a genuine relationship in episode one of the new series.
He also described himself as “rich” and “financially well-off” in several conversations with his co-stars.
Speaking in his confessional, Leo confessed: ‘I’m an art dealer. It’s a family business. I actually own it now and ended up inheriting it, but one of my biggest insecurities is that a girl only wants me for money.’
He went on to talk about his wealth in the men’s homes.

The 30-year-old art dealer described himself as “rich” and “financially well-off” in several conversations with his co-stars.
“So, I’m an art dealer,” he said. ‘I grew up working in the business and stuff and I inherited it quite young.
‘My grandfather had cancer and died. My grandmother had cancer and died. My mother had cancer and died. My dad got cancer and my stepdad got cancer. All in three years and I am an only child.
Leo then proceeded to divulge his luxurious early start in life.
“I grew up in a very well-off economic situation,” he said. ‘I’m not trying to build an influencer career, I’m a rich fucking art… (sic)
‘I went to a country club, I went to a private school, I went to college, I’m incredibly fortunate financially, but I’d rather have my problem than the problem of not having money.
“It’s really a big lucky thing to have, but it’s scary because a lot of times a girl… wants me because I’m an art dealer?”
But the topic of money didn’t stop there, as Leo also raised the topic during a date with Brittany Wisniewski.
“Because of all these family tragedies, I received an inheritance,” he divulged.
Leo shared his fears that women would use him for money instead of building a genuine relationship.
Viewers were stunned by how much Leo talked about his personal finances.
‘I understood it all at once relatively young. I’m not trying to say, “Woe is me, but the business I was lucky enough to inherit is doing pretty well.”
He continued: ‘What I’m most insecure about is whether she loves me for my job and the money I was lucky enough to have.
“As long as we’re married, I would also need the assurance that if tomorrow we broke up and all my money disappeared, if some hurricane came and destroyed all the art, you would be there with me.”
Naturally, all his money talk exasperated viewers at home, who flooded social media with comments.

The couple’s trip, however, was cut short by the producers as they were not chosen to continue filming beyond the capsules.
In X, one said: “I’m sorry, but Leo is 100 percent an actor.” There’s no way he could act like that in real life.
Another wrote: “Maybe Leo wouldn’t have to worry about people using him for his money if it weren’t for every sentence that came out of his mouth.”
A third added: “Why does Leo keep talking about how rich he is?” This is how you end up with a woman who wants you for your money.
‘If I hear Leo say one more time that he’s rich and that he doesn’t like to talk about the fact that he’s rich, I’ll break this damn TV!’ a room slammed shut.
On Instagram, another questioned its authenticity.
“He can’t be serious, he must be some paid actor,” one wrote. “There’s no way he can keep showing off his money.”
Another agreed, saying, “My exact thought.”
A third added: “We get it Leo, you’re rich.”
On the show, Leo proposed to beautician Brittany, but the couple was not chosen by the producers to continue with the honeymoon phase and their trip in front of the cameras was cut short.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Brittany said she wasn’t “surprised” that she was booted from the series, as she believes they were the “weakest link.”
“I hadn’t said I loved him, while everyone else did,” she said. ‘And that wasn’t something I could say because I just didn’t feel right at the time. I wasn’t in love with him.
‘I wasn’t surprised that we didn’t advance on the trip to Mexico, and we did our thing. And of course you build such a strong friendship with all the girls, which was disappointing.”
